Tasting - Santa Julia Malbec

I did not pair this wine with food
Name: Santa Julia Malbec
Variety: Malbec
Region: N/A
Country: Argentina
Year: 2012
Price: $8.95

Professional Notes: The nose is full of mellow raspberry and cherry, while the palate is fleshy and round, with blackberry and a touch of raisin. Plump, not edgy, and ready to drink, with coffee and mocha notes on the finish.

My Review: This wine was just 'Eh' to me. My friend who went tasting with me really enjoyed it. It wasn't bad, but I guess it's just not my fancy. I smelled ripe berries on the nose. Like, berries about to burst with juices and fall off the vine. It was a little dry, sort of. Besides that, it was a regular wine to me. Wasn't bad, so I would recommend it.
